a 100-year, 24-hour storm with correctly sired conveyances for <br />100-yr, 24-hour storm flows consistent with standards used by the <br />City in planning for the flood protection of homes and public <br />facilities. <br />Floodplain - No person or political subdivision shall alter or fill land <br />below the 100-year flood elevation of any water body, public water, or <br />public water wetland without first obtaining a permit from the Watershed <br />District. <br />a. Placement of fill within the 100-year floodplain is prohibited <br />unless compensatory storage is provided. Compensatory storage <br />must be provided on the development or immediately adjacent to <br />the development within the affected floodplain. <br />Compensatory storage shall result in the creation of floodplain <br />storage to fully offset the loss of floodplain storage. <br />Compensatory storage shall be created prior to or concurrently to <br />the permitted floodplain filling. <br />b.
