L Maintenance of Stormwater Facilities. The City requires that stormwater <br />facilities be maintained. <br />Private Stormwater Facilities -All private stormwater facilities shall be <br />maintained in proper condition consistent with the performance standards <br />for which they were originally designed. <br />2. Removal of settled materials -All settled materials from ponds, sumps, <br />grit chambers, and other devices, including settled solids, shall be <br />removed and properly disposed of as needed to ensure proper function of <br />the device. <br />3. Maintenance plan required - No private stormwater facilities may be <br />approved unless a maintenance plan is provided that defines who will <br />conduct the maintenance, the type of maintenance and the maintenance <br />intervals. <br />4. Maintenance-friendly design -All stormwater facilities must be designed <br />to minimize the need for maintenance, to provide easy vehicle and <br />personnel access for maintenance purposes, and be structurally sound. It <br />shall be the responsibility of the applicant to obtain any necessary <br />easements or other property interests to allow access to the facilities for <br />inspection or maintenance. <br />Inspection -The City shall have the right to inspect all stormwater <br />facilities during construction and at the City's discretion after construction <br />is completed. <br />Severability. The provisions of this ordinance are severable, and if any <br />provisions of this ordinance, or application of any provision of this ordinance to <br />any circumstance, is held invalid, the application of such provision to other <br />circumstances, and the remainder of this ordinance must not be affected thereby. <br />Stormwater Ordinance 928- 21 <br />
