• To minimize adverse visual impacts of antennas and antenna structures through careful design, <br />siting, landscaping, and innovative camouflaging techniques; <br />• To promote and encourage shared use/collocation of antenna structures as a primary option <br />rather than construction of additional structures; <br />• To avoid potential damage to adjacent properties caused by antennas and antenna structures by <br />ensuring they are soundly and carefully designed, constructed, modified, maintained, and <br />removed; <br />• To the greatest extent feasible, ensure that antennas and antenna structures are compatible with <br />surrounding land uses; <br />• To the greatest extent feasible, ensure that proposed antennas and antenna structures are <br />designed in harmony with natural settings and in a manner consistent with current development <br />patterns. <br />A. Eligible Zoning Districts. Antennas and towers, as defined in Section 902.O10.C., shall only be <br />allowed in the zoning districts as listed in the table found in this subsection below, with the <br />following exceptions: co-locations of antennas on existing commercial towers and municipal <br />towers shall be allowed by administrative permit; and, co-locations of antennas on existing <br />public utility structures may be allowed by conditional use permit as regulated by Section <br />903.140.I. <br />B. All new towers shall comply with one of the following setback calculations <br />options as measured from the base of the tower to the nearest property line: <br />Equal to the height of the tower, including any antenna attachments, plus five feet from <br />any residential use, exclusive of the property in question, any residential, business, or <br />public zoning district or any church or school. <br />Little Canada Zoning Ordinance General Provisions <br />903-52 <br />
