912-A. "B-4", COMPREHENSIVE BUSINESS DISTRICT <br />912-A.O10. PURPOSE. The purpose of the "B-4", Comprehensive Business District is to <br />provide for the establishment of commercial and service activities which provide a mix of <br />business use, including neighborhood, auto-oriented, and general business. This District shall be <br />located in areas of existing business development where mixed commercial activities do not <br />detract from the City's development objectives in the "downtown" area as described in the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />912-A.020. PERMITTED USES. [Changessimilar to B-3 Permitted Uses? <br />A. Antique or gift shop. <br />B. Amusement places (such as dance halls or roller rinks). <br />C. Animal clinics (with no overnight care). <br />D. Art and school supplies. <br />E. Auto accessory store (not including minor repair). <br />F. Bakery goods and baking of goods for retail sales on the premises. <br />G. Barber shops. <br />H. Beauty parlors. <br />I. Bicycle sales and repair. <br />J. Boat and marine sales (indoor). <br />K. Books, office supplies, office equipment and stationary stores. <br />L. Candy, ice cream, popcorn, nuts, frozen deserts and soft drinks. <br />M. Camera and photographic supplies. <br />N. Carpet, rugs and tile. <br />O. Clothing stores. <br />P. Coin and stamp stores. <br />Q. Commercial and professional offices. <br />R. Commercial recreation uses (not including establishments serving alcoholic beverages) <br />limited to: <br />1. Bowling alleys <br />2. Dance halls <br />3. Skating <br />4. Theaters (indoor only) <br />5. Sports and health clubs <br />S. Convenience grocery stores (not supermarket type and without motor fuel facilities.) <br />T. Copy service, but not including printing press or newspaper. <br />U. Costume, clothes rental. <br />V. Delicatessen. <br />W. Drug store. <br />X. Dry cleaning pick-up and laundry pick-up stations including incidental repair, assembly <br />and processing. <br />Y.
