CHANGE ORDER #4 <br />(Attachment) <br />This contract is amended as follows: <br />WHEREAS: It was determined by the Engineer that additional signage was needed for the <br />direction of traffic to the local businesses during the construction; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that a concrete bollard should be installed at the Old <br />Fire Hall to provide protection for the building and the new improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that the existing cold-in-place recycled millings should <br />be left in the section of Viking Drive that was completed by the County to protect <br />against erosion until the final lift was paved and therefore needed to be removed <br />in the following year; and <br />WHEREAS: The Engineer determined that a spillway flume should be added to convey runoff <br />water from the street to a designated boulevard area to prevent erosion; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED AND UNDERSTOOD THAT: <br />1. The Contractor shall complete the above described changes and additions to the project. <br />2. Payment for the work was reviewed and approved by the Engineer. <br />3. The Contractor will not make claim of any kind or character for any other costs or <br />expenses that he may have incurred or that he may hereafter incur in performing the <br />work or furnishing the materials of this agreement. <br />
