902. DEFINITIONS <br />902.010. APPLICATION. The following words and terms, wherever they occur in this <br />Ordinance, shall be interpreted as herein defined: <br />A. Accessorv Structure. A subordinate structure detached from but located on the same tot <br />as the principal building, the use of which is incidental and accessory to that of the <br />principal building. <br />Accessory Use. A use that: <br />1. Is clearly incidental to and customarily found in connection with a principal <br />building or use. <br />2. Is subordinate to and serves a principal building or use. <br />3. Is subordinate in area, extent, or purpose to the principal building or use served. <br />4. Contributes to the comfort, convenience, or necessity of occupants, business, or <br />industry in the principal building or use served. <br />5. Is located on the same lot as the principal building or use served. <br />6. May be located within either the principal building or an accessory stmcture. <br />Aericulture. The use of land for agricultural purposes, including farming, pasturage <br />agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, viticulture and the necessary accessory uses for <br />packing, treating or storing the produce, provided, however, that the operation of any <br />such accessory uses shall be secondary to that of the normal agriculture activities. <br />[Removed references to animal agriculture.~j <br />Alien A public right-of-way less than thirty (30) feet in width which affords secondary <br />access to abutting property. <br />Antenna-Commercial. Any equipment, except that as defined as a tower, used for <br />transmitting or receiving electro-magnetic waves including but not limited to <br />telecommunication, television or radio signals, and which is erected for the commercial <br />use of the information. Commercial antennas shall only be allowed as accessory uses. <br />Antenna-Private. Any equipment used for transmitting or receiving electro-magnetic <br />waves including but not limited to telecommunication, television or radio signals and <br />which is erected for the non-commercial use of the information. Any such use is <br />considered a permitted accessory use to the principal use in any Zoning District. <br />Apartment. A room or suite of rooms which is designed for, intended for, or occupied as <br />a residence by a single family or an individual, and is equipped with cooking facilities. <br />Includes dwelling unit and efficiency unit. <br />Little Canada Zoning Ordinance Definitions <br />902-I <br />
