Codeine House. A building other than a hotel, where for compensation for definite <br />periods, lodging is provided for three (3) or more persons not of the principal family, but <br />not including a building providing this service for more than ten (10) persons. <br />Lod in¢ Room. A room rented as sleeping and living quarters, but without cooking <br />facilities and with or without an individual bathroom. In a suite of rooms without cooking <br />facilities, each room which provides sleeping accommodations shall be counted as one <br />(1) lodging room. <br />Loading Space. That portion of a lot or plot designed to serve the purpose of loading or <br />unloading all types of vehicles. <br />Lot (Of Record). A parcel of land, whether subdivided or otherwise legally described, as <br />of the effective date of this Ordinance, or approved by the City as a lot subsequent to <br />such date and which is occupied by or intended for occupancy by one (1) principal <br />building, or principal use together with any accessory buildings and such open spaces as <br />required by this Ordinance and having its principal frontage on a street, or a proposed <br />street approved by the Council. <br />Lot. Land occupied or to be occupied by a building and its accessory buildings, together <br />with such open spaces as are required under the provisions of this Zoning Regulation, <br />having not less than the minimum area required by this Zoning Ordinance for a building <br />site in the district in which such lot is situated and having its principal frontage on a <br />street, or a proposed street approved by the Council. A lot shall not be' obnsidered in h~ <br />Lot Area. The area of a horizontal plane within the lot lines. <br />Lot Area Per Unit. The lot area required by this Ordinance to be provided for each family <br />in a dwelling. <br />Lot - Corner. A lot situated at the junction of and abutting on two (2) or more intersecting <br />streets; or a lot at the point of deflection in alignment of a single street, the interior angle <br />of which is one hundred thirty-five (13S) degrees or less. <br />Lot Depth. The shortest horizontal distance between the front lot line and the rear lot line <br />measured from a ninety (90) degree angle from the street right-of--way within the lot <br />boundaries. <br />Lot -Double Frontaee. An interior lot having frontage on two (2) streets. <br />Lot Frontaee.
