WORKSHOP MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 13, 2020 <br />Torkelson stated that the city has not used bonds for funding much in the past, and asked if that <br />was feasible. The City Administrator reviewed the different bond options and how they would <br />affect the city's finances and levy. <br />Fischer asked if more parking could be added to Pioneer Park if other amenities are added. The <br />Parks & Rec/Community Services Manager stated there is the ability to add parking spaces. The <br />Council discussed a community gathering building and were supportive of using the University <br />of Minnesota students for a community input process. <br />Keis stated that the Council consensus is that they want the input from University students with <br />the Resilient Communities Project to help start working on priorities.
