Weber <br /> <br />1.0 Review Past Programs <br /> Review the current draft plan. <br /> Review the requirements of the Metropolitan Council and communicate with the Sector <br />Representative. <br /> Meet with City staff to define roles and expectations. ] <br /> Meet with the Planning Commission and the Council in October to receive direction. <br />2.0 Assessment of Conditions <br /> Edit for brevity <br /> Add the map of school districts <br />3.0 Land Use Element <br /> Advise the City staff how to create a map of existing land use from the GIS data <br />provided by the Metropolitan Council. Staff will also generate a table of acreage by <br />land use category from the GIS data. Communicate regarding the coverages and legend. <br /> Summarize existing land use by acreage and percent in a table. <br /> Amend the regional forecast of population, households and employment based on <br />recent estimates from the American Community Survey. <br /> Review with City staff and possibly amend the map of future land use. Amend <br />Table 3 in the draft plan if necessary. <br /> Calculate the total acreage and percent of total acres for each future land use in a <br />table for years 2020, 2030 and 2040. Include expected densities and employment by <br />type of land use. <br /> Insert a map of the current pattern of zoning. Describe the zoning categories, <br />especially the allowed housing densities. <br /> Add a description and policies regarding future land use and public improvements in <br />the Rice Street corridor. Emphasize coordination with Ramsey County and the City <br />of Roseville. <br /> Determine whether the land use direction for the four focus areas presently in the <br />plan should be communicated without use of the site plan sketches. Add a focus area <br />that addresses the Ryan-Spruce industrial area. <br /> Establish a policy regarding the three locations of manufactured housing. <br /> Establish a policy regarding the industrial areas, including a recommendation for <br />improvements to the text of the zoning code.
