TO:Mayor Keis and Members of City Council <br />FROM:Heidi Heller, City Clerk <br />DATE:December 18, 2019 <br />RE:2020 Planning Commission Appointments <br />2020 Planning Commission Chair Appointment <br />STAFF REPORT <br />ACTION TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Motion to appoint two members to the Planning Commission for 3-year terms from 2020-2022. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The terms of office for Taelor Johnson and Nicole Westadt will expire on December 31, 2019. At <br />this time, there are two 3-year terms to fill. <br />The City has received letters requesting reappointment from both Taelor Johnson and Nicole <br />Westadt. <br />Please also note that the Planning Commission Ordinance calls for the Mayor to make a <br />recommendation for Planning Commission Chair. Mayor Keis will make that recommendation at <br />Wednesday’s meeting, with the Council making the actual appointment. The Commission will <br />select their own Vice Chair at their first meeting in January.
