RECYCLING & SANITATION SERVICES <br /> <br />Overview <br />The City’s newsletter, Le Petit Canadien, is accounted for the Recycling & Sanitation Department since the <br />Ramsey County SCORE grant partially funds the newsletter. <br /> <br />Service Areas <br />• Le Petit Canadien newsletter <br /> <br />2020 Departmental Goals <br />• Identify ways to publish the newsletter on the City’s website in different languages. <br />• Continue to utilize Select Committee on Recycling and the Environment (SCORE) grant funding to <br />partially fund the City’s newsletter. <br />• Continue to promote recycling programs available to Little Canada residents in print, website, and social <br />media in accordance with the SCORE grant funding and reporting policies. <br /> <br />Budgetary Commentary <br />The budget includes funds to publish the newsletter 6 times per year. Two editions will contain 12 pages and <br />four editions will contain 8 pages. <br /> <br />Contracted newsletter setup services will be transferred to city staff in 2019. The 2020 Budget has been <br />updated to reflect this change. <br /> <br />In addition, the City will receive SCORE grant incentive funding in 2020 to purchase and distribute reusable totes <br />to be distributed at the Farmer’s Market.
