Many other area <br />cities are using Siteimprove and Staff connected with the City of Maplewood and the City of <br />New Brighton, which both offering a lot of positive feedback on their experience and how it has <br />helped their organization. A common comment heard was the user-friendly dashboard that any <br />staff could navigate and understand. <br />A few other notable features that Siteimprove offers are: <br />• Analytics <br />• Application Programming Interface (API) integration <br />• Siteimprove Academy <br />• Heat Maps <br />• Tech Support <br />Staff was able to negotiate a discounted price and be included in a lower tier and still receive all <br />of the benefits. The price will not change from year-to-year if it is determined to be of value and <br />a return on investment is identified. Staff will evaluate the value of the software before the <br />termination period to see if the agreement should continue for another year and be included in <br />the budgeting process discussion for 2021. <br />BUDGETARY IMPACT <br />This item has not been budgeted in 2020. The source of funding will be from the Cable TV <br />(Fund 202). Sufficient dollars are available in the Cable TV fund at this time. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending that the City Council approve the agreement and quote for $4,500 from <br />Siteimprove to provide website improvement software-as-a-service for a 1-year duration.
