3200-15 <br /> <br />a. Conviction of any crime related to a license inspection or the occupation of housing <br />inspection; <br />b. Discovery of falsification or omission of information, or other items which would <br />have allowed the City Administrator to deny the license application if known at the <br />time of application; <br />c. Substantiated complaints from residents of properties using the inspector’s services; <br />d. Demonstrated incompetence or inefficiency in conducting inspections; <br />e. Lapse in required insurance or inability to provide satisfactory proof of insurance <br />upon request; <br />f. Allowing the license issued to the inspector to be used by another person; <br />g. Suspension or revocation of a similar license by another jurisdiction; <br />h. Suspension or revocation of any other license issued to the inspector by the City of <br />Little Canada; <br />i. Failure to follow the Code of Ethics adopted by the City of Little Canada as part of <br />the Rental Housing Evaluator Guidelines; <br />j. Violation of any part of this Chapter or of any portion of the Rental Housing <br />Evaluator Guidelines setting forth duties and responsibilities of the inspector. <br /> <br /> Any proposed suspension, revocation or non-renewal of a license shall be processed in <br />accordance with Chapter 800 of the City Code. License holders shall comply with terms and <br />conditions applicable to all license holders as stated within Chapter 800. <br />3200.240. DUTIES OF INSPECTORS. Each licensed inspector shall maintain a current <br />City license and conduct all duties in good faith with the City’s Rental Housing Evaluator <br />Guidelines. <br />SEVERABILITY. Should any section, subdivision, clause or other provision of this <br />Ordinance be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not <br />affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or of any part thereof, other than the part held to <br />be invalid. <br /> <br />3200.300. VIOLATION AND PENALTIES. Any violation of any provision of this <br />Chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor. Each day the rental dwelling or premise is in violation <br />of this Chapter shall be deemed a separate offense. In addition to the punishment specified in <br />this subdivision, the City may enforce this Code by appropriate form of civil action and may <br />enjoin violation of this Chapter and compel obedience thereto by mandatory orders and writs that <br />cause the premises to be vacated, if occupied in violation thereof, and to remain vacant until the <br />court shall find that the violation has ceased, and for these purposes, any court of competent <br />jurisdiction may render, enter, make and issue any and every appropriate judgement, decree, writ <br />and order and cause the same to be executed. <br />(Source: Ord. 674, Amended: Ord. 683, 709, 791)
