MINUTES CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 15, 2021 AND GIVING PRELIMINAR YAPPR 0 VAL ON THE ISSUANCE OF MULTI -FAMILY RENTAL HOUSING REVENUE BONDS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Torkelson. PUBLIC HEARING — RENEWAL OF PAWN BROKERS LICENSE & SECOND-HAND GOODS DEALER LICENSES Keis opened the Public Hearing to consider the approval of the following Pawn Brokers License and Second -Hand Goods Dealers Licenses: Pawn Brokers License —Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry Second -Hand Goods Dealers Licenses — Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry, Christian Life Ministries/New Day Mission Wearhouse Thrift Store, Joe's Sporting Goods, Quality Furniture, Three Stars Sportscards The City Clerk reported that application materials have been submitted, all of the background checks are in order, and a satisfactory review of the calls for service by the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department was completed. She stated that staff recommends approving these licenses for 2022. There was no one from the public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by McGraw, seconded by Fischer the public hearing was closed. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2021-12-I55 — APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF THE FOLLOWING LICENSES AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY CLERK FOR THE LICENSE PERIOD JANUARY 11 2022 THR 0 UGH DECEMBER 31, 2022: Pawn Brokers License — Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry Second Hand Goods Dealers Licenses — Lincoln Pawn & Jewelry Christian Life Ministries/New Day Mission Wearhouse Thrift Store Joe's Sporting Goods Quality Furniture Three Stars Sportscards The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw.
