Kasma, P.E., City Engineer <br /> <br />DATE: June 10, 2020 <br /> <br />RE: County Road D & Greenbrier Street Improvements <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Motion to approve Change Order No. 1 and Partial Pay Estimate No. 1 to New Look Contracting <br />in the amount of $37,204.37. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The total amount earned by the Contractor on this partial pay request is $39,162.5. Withholding <br />a 5% retainage, the amount due is $37,204.37. <br /> <br />Along with Partial Pay Estimate No.1 is Change Order No.1 in the amount of $3,500 for the <br />installation of dynamic signs one week prior to detour signage implementation. Ramsey County <br />has agreed to reimburse 100% of the cost. <br /> <br />SOURCE OF FUNDS: <br />The improvements will be funded through assessments, Municipal State Aid Funds and <br />Infrastructure Capital Improvement Funds. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve change order number 1 and partial payment <br />number 1 in the amount of $37,204.37. <br /> <br />
