<br />Comments: <br />• The 1st half 2020 property tax deadline (typically May 15th) was extended to July 15th for <br />certain taxpayers due to the pandemic. These collections from May 15th through July 15th <br />are unknown at this time and are not reflected in this report. Tax revenues include both <br />current and delinquent taxes, and this has been the practice in prior years. <br />• License revenue includes rental inspection licenses that will not be collected until October. <br />In addition, there are a few licenses that were due on June 30th that have not been collected. <br />Staff is working to find out the reason(s) for the delays in these payments. <br />• Liquor license revenue includes on-sale liquor license amounts collected from three <br />establishments that submitted payment with their liquor license application. Invoices for <br />on-sale liquor licenses have not been prepared in order to allow time to determine the <br />amount to collect for 2020. <br />• While building permit revenue was at an unusually high level in 2019, the 2020 building <br />permit revenue is trending closer to the 2018 levels. Building permits issued by month for <br />the last five years are as follows: <br /> <br /> • Charges for services revenue is lower than anticipated due to decreased rental revenues for <br />the OFH and the park shelters, due to COVID-19 restrictions. $9,450 was budgeted for <br />these rentals but only $1,650 was collected for these rentals through the first half of 2020. <br />Per current guidelines, the OFH has an 18-person capacity and the park shelter capacity is <br />25. <br />• Fine revenue is at 25% of the budget due to decreased traffic stops as a result of the <br />pandemic. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2
