<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Bill Dircks, Public Works Director <br /> DATE: September 3, 2020 <br /> RE: 2020 Crack Filling Project <br /> <br />Quotes are being received for the 2020 crack filing project. Three vendors were sent the <br />information and quotes are due back by noon on Wednesday, September 9. The City has budgeted <br />$30,000 for crack filling work in 2020 and that should be enough to get the roads and parking lots <br />completed that need to be done. <br />The three vendors who were asked for quotes are Northwest Asphalt Maintenance, Gopher State <br />Sealcoat, and Allied Blacktop. Northwest Asphalt has filled cracks in the City for close to 20 years <br />and Allied Blacktop has done seal coating in the City. Gopher State has filled cracks in other cities <br />in the area so all are qualified to perform the work to City specifications. <br />A map of streets and lots scheduled for crack filling is included with this report. The low quote <br />will be provided at the meeting on Wednesday, September 9. <br /> <br />
