13 <br /> <br />9. ARCHITECTURAL BARRIERS <br /> <br /> Any facility constructed pursuant to this Agreement shall comply with design <br />requirements of the Architectural Barriers Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 4151-4157 and the Americans <br />with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101-12213. <br /> <br />10. ACTIVITIES FOR WHICH OTHER FEDERAL FUNDS MUST BE SOUGHT <br /> <br /> The GRANTEE may use Community Development Block Grant funds for the provision of <br />public services as described by 24 C.F.R. § 570.201(e) provided that the GRANTEE meets <br />the requirements of and follows the procedures outlined in 24 C.F.R. § 570.607. <br /> <br />11. NON-PARTICIPATION IN POLITICAL ACTIVITIES <br /> <br /> The GRANTEE shall comply with the provisions of the Hatch Act, 5 U.S.C. §§ 7321- <br />7326. <br /> <br />12. CONDITIONS FOR RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS <br /> <br /> Where applicable, the conditions prescribed by H.U.D. for the use of CDBG funds by <br />religious organizations shall be followed, and, if applicable, included in agreements <br />between the GRANTEE and contractors or sub-contractors. <br /> <br />13. NATIONAL FLOOD INSURANCE <br /> <br /> The GRANTEE may not receive Community Development Block Grant funding for <br />acquisition or construction in any area that has been identified as having special flood <br />hazards and is not participating in the National Flood Insurance Program, Flood Disaster <br />Protection Act, § 3(a), 42 U.S.C. §§ 4001-4003, and the Regulations thereunder. The <br />GRANTEE shall comply with the Regulations at 24 C.F.R. § 570.605. <br /> <br />14. AIR AND WATER POLLUTION <br /> <br /> The GRANTEE shall comply with the provisions of the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 7401- <br />7642, and the Federal Water Pollution Act, 33 U.S.C. §§ 1251-1274, and the regulations <br />issued thereunder. <br /> <br />15. LEAD-BASED PAINT POISONING <br /> <br /> The GRANTEE shall comply with the regulations at 24 C.F.R., pt. 35, issued pursuant to <br />the Lead-Based Poisoning Prevention Act, 42 U.S.C. § 4831, relating to the use of lead- <br />based paint. <br /> <br />16. NON-SUBSTITUTION FOR LOCAL FUNDING <br />
