MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUGUST 12, 2021 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 12th day of August, 2021 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Kwapick called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. and the following members of the <br />Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Johnson, Kulousek, Kwapick, and Buesing. Absent: <br />Schwalbach, Thorson, and Quarles <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Community Development Director/ Planner Corrin Wendell, Planning <br />Consultant Bill Weber, Community Development Intern Michelle Lincoln <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br />The agenda was adopted as presented. <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />Commissioner Johnson made a motion to approve the June 10, 2021 Planning Commission <br />minutes as submitted. Commissioner Buesing seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br /> <br />OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />No comments. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />No public hearings. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS: ZONING CODE DRAFT ITEMS <br />The Community Development Director stated that this is a continued discussion with the zoning <br />code update. She noted that staff has met with the Council on a few occasions and there was <br />direction from the Council to obtain additional details. She stated that the additional research <br />was shared with the Council and staff is here to present those details to the Commission. <br /> <br />The Community Development Intern provided a presentation on accessory dwelling units and <br />duplexes within the R-1 zoning district. She reviewed the information she received from other <br />ring one cities as to what is allowed for accessory dwelling units and duplexes. She also
