<br /> <br /> <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager <br /> <br /> DATE: January 26, 2022 <br /> <br />RE: Ordinance No. 861 - Ordinance Amending Chapter 3200, Rental Housing <br />Licensing, of the Little Canada City Code <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />Consider approval of Ordinance 861, an Ordinance Amending Chapter 3200, Rental Housing <br />Licensing, of the Little Canada City Code <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Code Enforcement/Rental Housing Coordinator noticed that wording in Section 3200.070 <br />Maintenance Standards, is outdated. This section of the city code refers to the “Uniform” <br />Building Code, but the City adopted the “Minnesota State Building Code” several years ago, so <br />this language should be updated to accurately reflect City Code Chapter 301 that it is referring to. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt Ordinance 861, an Ordinance Amending Chapter 3200, Rental Housing Licensing, of the <br />Little Canada City Code. <br />
