<br />Many of the initiatives above were incorporated into the 2021 budget and staff members have <br />established specific steps for implementation. Additional priorities and initiatives that may take <br />considerable staff time and ongoing focus in 2021 include the following items: <br />• Pioneer Park Master Planning Process <br />• Analysis of stormwater impacts and creation of Stormwater Utility <br />• Consideration of 5-year contract for the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) <br />• Consideration of 5-year organized waste collection contracts <br />• Consider sale of city-owned property for economic development (Marketplace Drive Site) <br />• Consider acquisition of A&W site for blight removal and future redevelopment <br />• Consider acquisition of available single-family homes for affordable housing <br /> <br />The City Council is asked to consider the key initiatives and priorities listed above and provide <br />further input on how they might be accomplished in 2021, particularly given the COVID-19 <br />pandemic environment we are currently grappling with. The following are a few questions for you <br />to consider that may help to prompt discussion at tonight’s workshop. <br /> <br />1. Which of the key initiatives above are the highest priority for each City Council member? <br />(If possible, pick top three items from Strategic Plan or additional priorities) <br /> <br />2. Which of the key initiatives above are the lowest priority for each City Council member? <br />(If possible, pick bottom three items from Strategic Plan or additional priorities) <br /> <br />3.
