<br />Highlights: <br />• Although electrical permits are trending slightly lower for the current year, <br />building permits issued for the current year are trending higher than 2020. <br /> • The OFH rentals and Park shelter rentals are in the charges for services category. <br />Due to the pandemic, these rentals are trending lower than the 1st quarter 2020. <br /> <br />General Fund Expenditures <br />As of March 31st, actual expenditures are at 23.91% of the budget. This is slightly lower than <br />prior years, which can largely be attributed to savings in the public works department for salt <br />purchase savings and salary savings from the Public Works Maintenance position that is currently <br />vacant. <br /> <br /> Highlights: <br />• The 1st quarterly installment for election services was paid to Ramsey County <br />during the 1st quarter. <br />• The Fire Department is at 43.49% of the budget since services are prepaid each <br />quarter. This is consistent with the practice in prior years. <br />• Northeast Youth & Family Services contract is paid once per year, so Community <br />Partnerships are at 68.79% of the budget. This is consistent with prior years.
