15 <br /> SECTION 11 - PERFORMANCE REVIEWS <br /> <br />An objective performance review system in accordance with position descriptions shall be established <br />by the City Administrator for the purpose of having supervisors periodically evaluate the performance <br />of their employees using the prescribed form for this purpose. The quality of performance rendered by <br />the employee in the past will, in every case, receive due consideration in such personnel decisions as <br />promotions, transfers, demotions, discipline, terminations and, where applicable, salary adjustments. <br />Performance reviews shall be discussed with the employee, but such evaluations will not be available <br />to unauthorized persons. <br /> <br />Performance reviews shall take place on a regular basis and shall be retained as part of the employee's <br />personnel file. A performance review will also be conducted near the conclusion of the learning and <br />evaluation period and at any other times deemed appropriate by the employee's supervisor.
