RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br />IMPROVEMENT NO. 2022-03 <br /> <br />MAPLE LANE & JACKSON STREET <br />(FROM END OF THE CUL-DE-SAC TO LABORE AVENUE) <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A feasibility report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of <br />Maple Lane and Jackson Street (from end of the cul-de-sac to Labore Avenue) by full depth <br />reclamation with new asphalt paving, minor curb repairs, and minor/spot improvements to the <br />underground utility systems. This report was received by the Council on November 17, 2021, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost- <br />effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of Maple Lane and Jackson Street in <br />accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost <br />of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost to the <br />City of Little Canada of $299,710. <br /> <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on December 15, 2021, in <br />the Council Chambers of the City Center at 7:30 P.M. and the City Administrator shall give <br />mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council this 17th day of November, 2021. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> John T.
