Samantha House Bio
Samantha has been working for city, county, and federal
parks for the past seven years. Her broad professional skills
have been gained working for Three Rivers Park District, City
of St. Paul Parks & Recreation, Mississippi National River &
Recreation Area, and Sequoia National Park. Samantha also
brings a strong skill set in photography and videography that
can be utilized in creating content and engaging the
community. Samantha has a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin –
Madison.
Samantha is excited to be a part of the Little Canada Parks &
Recreation Department and taking the lead on coordinating
the many different community events and programs that are
offered, managing the Farmers Market, and enhancing the outdoor educational program offerings
in Little Canada. Along with her experience, Samantha brings a positive attitude, strong
teamwork skills, and the willingness to help in multiple areas if needed.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys spending time in the outdoors playing broomball, hiking,
snowshoe, and backpacking, and more. Samantha loves the Minnesota winters. We look
forward to Sam joining the team and the impact she will have on our community.
