1 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUGUST 16, 2012 <br /> <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Parks & <br />Recreation Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota, was held <br />on the 16th day of August, 2012, in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road East in said city. <br /> <br /> Chair Linda Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the commission were present: <br /> <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Ms. Linda Fahey <br /> Ms. Katie Lolmaugh <br /> Mr. Tom Maida <br /> Mr. Dan Slain <br /> Mr. Kevin Steinert <br /> Ms. Patti Sullivan <br /> <br /> ABSENT: Mr. Jeff Heikke <br /> <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Jim Morelan, Parks & Rec Dir. <br /> Mr. Bill Sanders, Parks Consultant <br /> Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES The Commission unanimously approved the minutes of the July 19, 2012 <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />PARK The Parks & Recreation Commission reviewed the Park and Trail <br />IMPROVEMENTS Improvement Program Priority Ranking which will be submitted <br />& TRAIL to the Council for discussion at a workshop meeting on August 22, <br />SYSTEM 2012. The Parks & Recreation Director reviewed a report that the City <br />PRIORITIES Engineer will be submitting to the Council at its next meeting relative to <br />the Waterworks Trail railroad crossing, asking whether the project should <br />proceed this year or whether staff should apply for a second extension of <br />the crossing permit. <br /> <br /> The Commission then ranked the top ten park and trail improvements and <br />that ranking is as follows: <br />
