Chapter 915: General Development Requirements <br /> <br />Page 915-4 <br /> Swimming pools shall comply with the requirements of Section 914.230, Swimming <br />Pools. <br />(G) Space for a Garage <br /> Every single family dwelling unit erected after the effective date of this Code shall be <br />located so that a garage, either attached or detached, can be built on the parcel. <br />(H) Little Free Libraries <br /> A “Little Free Library” may be allowed in any front or side yard but not in the public <br />street right-of-way. <br />915.030 Corner Sight Triangles <br />(A) Corner Visibility <br />On corner lots (including rural areas), nothing shall be placed or <br />allowed to grow in such a manner as materially to impede vision <br />between a height of 2.5 to 10 feet above the centerline grades of <br />the intersecting streets within the shaded area of the clear sight <br />triangle shown below. <br />The point of the corner sight triangle shall be measured 25 feet <br />back from the imaginary line of the extended curb as shown below. <br />If there are no curbs, the measurement will be from the point of <br />intersection of the pavement. <br />(B) Corners Less than 90 Degrees <br />For lots with an interior angle of less than 90 degrees at a street or railway corner, the protected <br />corner area is defined by a triangle created by the two corner lot lines and drawing an <br />imaginary line between the corner lot lines 25 feet from the corner on each property lot line <br />plus one foot for every ten degrees or fraction thereof less than 90 degrees. <br />(C) Exceptions <br />Corner visibility standards do not apply to public utility poles, street name markers, official <br />traffic signs and control devices, and fire hydrants. <br />915.040 Construction Materials, Exterior <br />(A) No pole type buildings, and no conventionally framed, pre-fabricated, or engineered <br />steel buildings with metal exteriors (walls or roof), shall be allowed. <br />(B) All buildings in Residential, Business, and Industrial Districts shall be constructed of <br />solid wall masonry, pre-cast concrete or aggregate panels, wood frame masonry veneer, <br />wood siding (provided the surfaces are finished for exterior use and wood of proven <br />durability is used, such as cedar, redwood, or cypress), fiberglass, steel, or aluminum <br />residential siding, glass curtain wall panels (non-structural), and stucco or stucco-like <br />building products.
