<br /> Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Heidi Heller, City Clerk <br /> <br />DATE: December 11, 2015 <br /> <br />RE: Appointments to Planning Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The terms of office for Heidi Murphy and Nick Schwalbach will expire on December 31, 2015. <br />Both vacancies are for three-year terms. <br /> <br />The City has received an email requesting reappointment from Nick Schwalbach. Heidi Murphy <br />has decided not to reapply. A letter of interest was also received from Jennifer Schletty Flores. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission Interview Committee consisted of Council Members Keis and <br />Montour, and the City Administrator. The consensus of the Interview Committee is that Nick <br />Schwalbach and Jennifer Scheltty Flores should be appointed to fill the two Commission <br />vacancies. <br /> <br />Please also note that the Planning Commission Ordinance calls for the Mayor to make a <br />recommendation for Parks & Recreation Commission Chair. Mayort Keis will make that <br />recommendation at Wednesday’s meeting, with the Council making the actual appointment. The <br />Commission will select their own Vice Chair at their first meeting in January. <br /> <br /> <br />
