<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES <br />OF A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 16, 201 5 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota was duly called and held at the City Center <br />of said City on the 16 th day of December, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br /> <br />Keis, Montour, Torkelson, and Fischer; and the <br />following members were absent: McGraw. <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2016 TAX LEVY <br />FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />AS PRESENTED HY CITY STAFF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The 201 6 tax levy is as follows: <br /> <br />GROSS TAX LEVY $2,946,430 <br />General Fund $2,654,298 <br />Fire Equipment Fund $134,932 <br />Infrastructure Fund $157,200 <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The Council is required to certify a tax levy to the County Auditor by December 31, <br />201 5 ; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota that the Council hereby approves the 2015 tax levy in the amount of <br />$2,946,430. <br /> <br />The adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Council Member and <br />upon vote taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Keis, Montour, Torkelson, and Fischer; and the <br />following voted against same: None. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Council this <br />16th day of December, 2015.
