Arguably, the changes made in the 2008 <br />session took away the Arden Hills problem and made the statute self-enacting, but like <br />liquor licensing, the City needs to adopt an ordinance if it wants to collect the fees and <br />penalties authorized by the statute. Also, we still need an ordinance to get at <br />"potentially dangerous dogs." So it went from being a long change to a very long change. <br />I used statutory maximum amounts for everything except registration of potentially <br />dangerous dogs, which I set at '/: the charge for dangerous dogs (there is no actual <br />statutory guidance for a potentially dangerous dog fee). <br />Let me know if you need further revisions. <br />Thanks <br />Trevor <br />Trevor S.
