WORKSHOP MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL, <br />MAY 119 2022 <br />The team of four graduate students reviewed their data that was collected through research, <br />analysis and community engagement and a survey. The project focuses on ways to accomplish <br />improvements and enhancing the equity, accessibility, connectivity and safety of pedestrian, <br />bicycle and public transit pathways and transit stops. <br />The meeting was temporarily adjourned at 7:23 p.m. <br />The meeting reconvened at 9:05 p.m. <br />REVIEW UPDATED ZONING MAP <br />The Community Development Director stated that the Council adopted the Zoning Code update <br />on October 27, 2021. She explained that within this update were several zoning district updates <br />that will better serve the City, and are in alignment with the goals and vision of the 2040 <br />Comprehensive Plan. She stated the remaining piece to this process is to update the official <br />zoning map to align with the zoning districts outlined in the Zoning Code. She reviewed the <br />previous map and zoning districts with the new zoning districts and map. She noted there were <br />also a few formal rezoning changes also made to the new map. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m. <br />" JbliiiX.
