CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 865 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE CHAPTER 602, <br />ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF THE MINNESOTA STATE FIRE CODE, TO <br />CORRESPOND WITH THE UPDATED MINNESOTA STATE FIRE CODE <br /> <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby ordain: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby amends Chapter 602.010 of <br />the Little Canada Municipal Code as follows: <br /> <br />602.010. DECLARATION OF POLICY. Per City Code Chapter 2001, the Little Canada <br />City Council has adopted the Minnesota State Fire Code, including the Appendix relating to the <br />prohibition of fires or barbecues on balconies or patios. The purpose of this appendix is to prevent <br />tragedies from occurring as a result of such activities. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES. That all ordinances or parts of <br />ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby appealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. In any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this <br />ordinance or any part thereof is for any reason found to invalid by a court of competent <br />jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this ordinance or any <br />part thereof. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its adoption and <br />publication. <br /> <br />Adopted this 20th day of June, 2022 <br /> <br />By: ________________________________ <br /> John T.
