STAFF REPORT

TO: Mayor Keis and Members of the City Council

FROM: Heidi Heller, City Clerk/HR Manager

DATE: November 30, 2022

RE: Presentation of League of Women Voters of Roseville Area Study

Every few years the League of Women Voters of Roseville Area conducts a different study
involving their five area cities (Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Little Canada, Maplewood and
Roseville). In 2022, they completed a study to assess the compliance level of the section of the
American with Disabilities Act (ADA) that guarantees access to public buildings and sites. This
study examined compliance policy, administration and accessibility by residents who are
mobility challenged to government buildings, polling locations and city recreational venues such
as parks and playgrounds.

Mary Peterson, member of the League of Women Voters of Roseville Area, will be presenting a
summary of this recently completed area study.
