19 <br /> <br />CONSENSUS <br /> <br />The Study Committee proposes the following consensus statements be considered for adoption <br />by the League of Women Voters of Roseville Area. <br /> <br />Should LWV of Roseville Area modify the current policy “Support opportunities for citizen <br />participation in city government, including early public participation in the decision-making <br />process, and open appointment for advisory committees. (1988) to read “Support ADA <br />compliant opportunities for resident participation in city government, including early public <br />participation in the decision-making process, and open appointment for advisory committees.”? <br /> <br />Should LWV of Roseville Area modify the current policy “Support safe non-motorized pathways <br />with costs assessed areawide. (1983)” to read “Support ADA compliant safe non-motorized <br />pathways with costs assessed areawide.”? <br /> <br />Should LWV of Roseville Area adopt a new position stating, “Support city government <br />compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements in administrative <br />policy, and access to and use of city owned and leased buildings, voting precincts, and <br />recreational locations and facilities."? <br /> <br />Should LWV of Roseville Area adopt a new position stating, “Support compliance by city <br />governments in the Americans with Disabilities Act by making identification of an ADA <br />Coordinator and grievance process easily found on city websites.”? <br />
