MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 10, 2009 <br />ALARM AND REFUSE CHARGES AS RECOMMENDED BY CITY <br />STAFF; <br />*CALL FOR A WORKSHOP ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25, 2009 AT <br />6:00 P.M. TO REVIEW 2009 GOALS/ACTION PLANS; <br />*CALL FOR A WORKSHOP ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2009 AT <br />6:00 P.M. TO REVIEW RENTAL HOUSING LICENSING <br />ORDINANCE DRAFT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COMP The City Administrator reviewed the City Planner's report dated March 6, <br />PLAN 2009 recommending that a public hearing be scheduled for Apri122, 2009 <br />for the Council's review of the Comprehensive Plan update. The Planner <br />also recommended that the Comp Plan be distributed to adjoining <br />jurisdictions for comment. This will provide for an adequate comment <br />period prior to the City's formal Comp Plan submission to the <br />Metropolitan Council by the end of May. <br />Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-3-54 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING <br />FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2009 TO REVIEW THE CITY'S <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE AND AUTHORIZING STAFF <br />TO SUBMIT THE COMP PLAN DRAFT TO SURROUNDING <br />JURISDICTIONS FOR COMMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CALL FOR The City Administrator reported that Fleur Royale and Canabury <br />HIA FEE Condominiums are ready to move forward with the fee hearings <br />HEARINGS relative to improvement projects at these complexes under the Housing <br />Improvement Area process. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-3-SS -CALLING FOR HOUSING <br />IMPROVEMENT FEE HEARINGS ON MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2009 <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />2 <br />
