The next step is to add regularly scheduled
maintenance activities as preventative maintenance (PM) entries. These apply to tasks that are
done on a regular basis such as flushing hydrants, mowing parks, jetting sewer lines, etc. This will
automatically generate a work order on the desired date and it will be sent to the party assigned to
the task. It should help reduce the amount of time spent creating work orders and it will no longer
require somebody to remember to schedule the work since the software will automatically
generate it.
Overall, this has been a great tool for tracking and creating more efficient workflows and staff
looks forward to continuing to dial-in the features as we learn more.
Staff will have some example slides to show at the meeting to provide context on all of the
features discussed.
