The City of Little Canada will invoice the City of Vadnais Heights for <br />construction engineering incurred on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />5.4. Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of an invoice. <br /> <br />6. Ownership and Maintenance: <br /> <br />6.1.1. Each City will continue to own and maintain the roadway within its <br />jurisdiction except as modified herein. <br /> <br />i. The City of Little Canada will be responsible for winter snow and ice <br />control for the entirety of Twin Lake Boulevard. <br /> <br />ii. The City of Vadnais heights will be responsible for Spring and Fall <br />street sweeping. <br /> <br />iii. Roadway striping and crack filling will be completed and paid for in an <br />alternating fashion by each City. The intent is that this will be a more <br />efficient use of staff resources and funds while establishing an equal <br />responsibility for the work. <br /> <br />6.1.2. Ownership and Maintenance of the Sanitary Sewer and Watermain- <br />Each City will own and maintain their respective sanitary sewer and <br />watermain systems including services. <br /> <br />6.1.3. Each City will own and maintain the new pedestrian trail and <br />pedestrian curb ramps within its jurisdiction; including but not <br />limited to crack sealing, sealcoating, patching, and future <br />rehabilitation and reconstruction. <br /> <br />i. The City of Little Canada will be responsible for winter snow <br />and ice control for the entirety of the trail along Twin Lake <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br />6.1.4. Each City will own and maintain newly planted trees and existing <br />vegetation in its jurisdiction; including but not limited to annual mowing, <br />brush clearing, invasive species removal, and tree trimming. <br /> <br />6.1.5. Each City will own and maintain stormwater management infrastructure <br />within its jurisdiction. Future costs for maintenance or rehabilitation of the <br />stormwater management infrastructure installed with the project will be a <br />shared cost at the same ratio used for trail installation (49% Vadnais <br />Heights, 51% Little Canada). <br /> <br />
