<br />City staff is currently working to schedule the initial public engagement for this study. The initial <br />engagement will focus on documenting the concerns and desires from city residents and property <br />owners. A web-based engagement tool as well as an open house will be advertised, with the open <br />house being planned for mid-May. Staff is working with Montreal Court Apartments to utilize their <br />community room for the open house, if the room is not available, City Hall will be the alternate <br />location. The engagement options are planned to be advertised as follows: <br /> <br />1. City Website (all residents) <br />2. City Newsletter, April/May/June Edition (all residents) <br />3. Mailed Flyer (residents within 0.25 miles of Labore Road) <br /> <br />SOURE OF FUNDS: <br />The 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Plan (Parks 18) has $40,000 budgeted for this work. Bolton & <br />Menk staff is working with a not-to-exceed budget of $35,000 to allow for any additional or <br />unforeseen study components or costs that may arise through the process. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends the approval of the Labore Road sidewalk study from Bolton & Menk for a not- <br />to-exceed amount of $35,000.
