MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />JULY 26, 2023 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 26th day of July 2023 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members T. Miller, Kwapick, D. Miller, and Gutierrez <br />(via Zoom at 8:20 p.m.). <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Parks & Rec/Community Services Director <br />Bryce Shearen, City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller, Finance Director Sam Magureanu, and <br />Community Relations Manager Laura Linehan. <br /> <br />Mayor Fischer asked if staff wanted to highlight upcoming the upcoming Canadian Days events. <br /> <br />The Parks & Rec/Community Services Director provided an overview of the different events that will <br />take place as part of Canadian Days. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023-7-81 – APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JULY 12, 2023 <br />WORKSHOP AND THE JULY 12, 2023 REGULAR MEETINGS AS SUBMITTED <br /> <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by D. Miller. <br />Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />2023 Night to Unite Proclamation <br />Mayor Fischer read aloud the Night to Unite proclamation. <br /> <br />The City Administrator commented that there are 18 registered parties for Night to Unite and noted <br />that additional parties can still be registered. <br /> <br />Mayor Fischer commented that even if a party is not registered for a visit from law enforcement, it is <br />still important to get out and meet your neighbors to strengthen the community. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br /> <br />
