515 Little Canada Road, Little Canada, MN 55117-1600 <br />(651) 766-4029 / FAX: (651) 766-4048 <br />www.littlecanadamn.org <br />MAYOR <br />Tom Fischer <br />COUNCIL <br />Teresa Miller <br />Amanda Gutierrez <br />Dave Miller <br />Chris Kwapick <br />PROCLAMATION <br />ARBOR DAY <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada recognizes that trees beautify our <br />surroundings, improve our quality of life, increase property values, and enhance the <br />economic vitality of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has had a successful program of planting trees in City <br />parks, along streets, and other public places; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has encouraged residents and property owners to <br />plant trees on private property throughout the City; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED that I, Tom Fischer, <br />Mayor of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota do hereby proclaim Friday, April 28, <br />2023, as Arbor Day in the City of Little Canada. <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the month of May will be <br />“Arbor Month” and that an observance of Arbor Day and Arbor Month will be held <br />on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Spooner Park in the City of Little Canada. <br />Adopted this 26th Day of April, 2023 <br />________________________________ <br />Thomas Fischer, Mayor
