While the program is voluntary, if
a city wanted to participate, it would require passing a resolution by July 1 each year and reporting on
at least 10 performance measures. As a benefit, the city would receive $0.14 per capita up to $25,000.
Our population is estimated in 2022 to be 10,766 so that would equate to $1,507.24. While not a large
amount, the effort to complete the task would not be significant as many of the metrics we have easy
access to.

A resolution is attached authorizing participation in the program and reporting on the 2022 results of
10 performance measures.

FISCAL IMPACT:
As an added benefit for participating in the program, the city will receive $0.14 per capita up to
$25,000. Our population is estimated in 2022 to be 10,766 so that would equate to $1,507.24.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approving the Resolution authorizing participation in the State Performance
Measurement Program and reporting results for 2022.

ATTACHMENTS:
• Resolution
• Measurement Program Proposed Metrics
