<br /> <br />Budget Impact: <br />Staff had been planning and budgeting in the General Capital Fund for the replacement of the copiers for <br />the last few years, but it did not get included in the 2023 budget. <br /> <br />City staff recommends the use of funds from the City’s General Capital Fund. The purchase is expected <br />to have a minimal impact to the current fund balance. The fund balance at the end of 2023 in the General <br />Capital Fund is estimated at approximately $2.4 million and is expected to be sufficient to meet the fund <br />needs short term (2024 and 2025). The long-term fund balance and future fund needs will be discussed <br />and evaluated during the adoption of the new 2024-2033 Capital Improvement Plan budget process. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the purchase of a Sharp BP70C55 large copier/printer/scanner and an HP E52645 <br />desktop printer/copier from Marco for a total of $11,058. <br /> <br /> <br />
