<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Eric Seaburg, P.E., City Engineer <br /> <br />DATE: August 9, 2023 <br /> <br />RE: Partial Payment #3 – 2023 Street Improvements <br /> <br /> <br />ACTIONS TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Motion to approve Partial Pay Estimate No. 3 to Minnesota Paving and Materials in the amount <br />of $303,404.11. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The total amount earned by the Contractor to date is $783,645.24. The amount paid previously is <br />$441,058.87. Withholding a 5% retainage, the amount due is $303,404.11. <br /> <br />SOURCE OF FUNDS: <br />Street and utility improvements will be funded through the City’s Infrastructure Capital <br />Improvement Fund and special assessments. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve payment in the amount of $303,404.11. <br />
