MUST MATCH the language in the Resolution exactly] <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />1)Declare Ramsey County to be in a Local State of Emergency effective the [Date incident began <br />from WHEREAS 1 of the Draft Resolution] due to the ongoing and expected response to and <br />recovery from [Incident from WHEREAS 1] – MUST USE THE EXACT language from the first <br />“Resolved” statement in the draft Resolution] <br />2)Declare that this Local State of Emergency will end at such time as the County Manager, acting on <br />the advice of the Director of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, subject matter <br />experts, notifies the Chair of the Board that the State of Emergency is no longer warranted. <br />3)Direct the County Manager and Director of Emergency Management and Homeland Security to <br />coordinate such actions and request such state and/or federal assistance as needed to protect lives <br />and public and private property in Ramsey County and the recovery of the County to the extent <br />practicable and allowed by law, ordinance, and Charter.
