B O O K N O W
Carousels & Horses- Skyrock Farm
We will begin with an informative and historical look at the
antique dance organs of the Skyrock Carousel building.
Learn about the restoration process of gold leafing, and
how one-hundred-year-old art is preserved. The intricate
pipes are made and voiced to replicate the sounds of the
piccolo, flute, violin, saxophone, and trombone. See a
carousel horse collection and learn why the men who
carved the ornate figures have a place in history. Then,
enjoy a hearty Pot Roast home-cooked meal prepared
Minnesota Style, using fresh premier ingredients including
beverages and dessert. After lunch, we will watch a horse
jumping program inside the climate-controlled arena. It will
demonstrate how Skyrock Riding Academy teaches
horsemanship with the goal of culminating compassionate,
knowledgeable riders with effective aids and relaxed
horses. You are sure to enjoy this demonstration!
Register by: April 16
Cost: $95 for Residents
Carousels & HorsesSkyrock Farm
Watch
651-766-4042
sierra.hietala@littlecanadamn.org
littlecanadamn.org
Tuesday, May 16
PU: 8:45 AM- DO: 3:15 PM
Roseville Skating Center
