Information update to the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Progress for Pioneer Park continues to move forward. Below are weekly updates since the last <br />Parks & Recreation Commission meeting and some photos. Staff continues to have weekly <br />meetings with the contractor and Engineer on site and we are anticipating a lot of construction <br />work to happen in the month of June. <br />With a lot of work scheduled for the month of June staff would recommend a park tour at <br />Pioneer Park before the July Commission meeting at 5:30 p.m. Staff would like feedback from <br />the Commission if a park tour would be a good idea. <br />Weekly Updates: <br />Work completed for the week of May 8 – May 12. <br />o Trees were marked and removed on Wednesday, May 10. <br />Work completed for the week of May 15 – May 19. <br />o City Staff removed the old playground Tuesday, May 16. <br />o Fence was installed Wednesday, May 17. <br />o Bolton & Menk surveyor set Control points Friday, May 19. <br />Work completed for the week of May 22 – May 26. <br />o Erosion Control was installed Tuesday, May 23. <br />o Walkthrough with the Watershed Wednesday, May 17. <br />o Stripped Topsoil Thursday, May 25th.
