Information update to the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Progress for Pioneer Park continues to move forward. Below are weekly updates since the last <br />Parks & Recreation Commission meeting and some photos. Staff continues to have weekly <br />meetings with the contractor and Engineer on site and we are anticipating a lot of construction <br />work to happen in the month of June. <br />With a lot of work scheduled for the month of June staff would recommend a park tour at <br />Pioneer Park before the July Commission meeting at 5:30 p.m. Staff would like feedback from <br />the Commission if a park tour would be a good idea. <br />Weekly Updates: <br />Work completed for the week of May 29 – June 2. <br />o Continued to grade the site and stockpile material. <br />Work completed for the week of June 5 – June 9. <br />o Continue to grade the site. <br />o Preparing for utility and conduit installation. <br />o Hauling material off site. <br />Work completed for the week of June 12 – June 16. <br />o Hauled out exess material. <br />Work completed for the week of June 19 – June 23. <br />o Water line ran to utility box and drinking fountain. <br />o Graded for hold down. <br />Work completed the week of June 26 – June 30. <br />o Started laying drain tile. <br />o Staked electrical components and jets. <br />o Tested water lines. <br />Work completed the week of July 3 – July 7 <br />o No work July 3 and July 4 for Holiday. <br />o Continued laying drain tile.
