Fall Gymnastics This beginner gymnastics course will focus on tumbling and will include forward/backward rolls, cartwheels, headstands, leaps, turns, and more. Equipment will consist of floor mats, beams, and vaults. There will be seven weeks of practice with a final mock meet where your gymnasts can show off their new skills! Date & Time: Tuesdays, September 12-October 24 Ages: 5-12 • Cost: $60 Res/$65 Non-Res Little Canada Elementary School Gym ● 400 Eli Road, LIttle Canada, MN 55117 Volleyball Volleyball League aims to develop each player by teaching the fundamentals of volleyball while learning the value of teamwork and encouraging good sportsmanship in a safe, positive, and fun environment. This is a developmental program for 3rd-8th graders. The players are introduced to more advanced practice drills and volleyball fundamentals. Improvement on volleyball strategies involving bumping, setting, spiking, and rotation as they advance in league level. Games are Saturday mornings and afternoons and will begin mid-September and end with an all- day tournament in early November. Games will have start times typically between 9 AM and 3 PM Opponents will be Oakdale, Mahtomedi, White Bear Lake, and Stillwater. We will explore the trails at Spooner Park while searching for the sights and sounds of wildlife. After the hike, participants will get a chance to meet some of Carpenter Nature Center’s live Animal Ambassadors!
