Page 3 of 3 <br />vii.Food shall be stored in water-tight, rodent-proof containers. <br />viii.Dead chickens must be disposed of according to the Minnesota Board of <br />Animal Health rules which require chicken carcasses to be disposed of as <br />soon as possible after death, usually within forty-eight (48) to seventy-two <br />(72) hours. Legal forms of chicken carcass disposal include burial, off-site <br />incineration or rendering, or composting. <br />b.NEIGHBOR CONSENT. <br />i.The Applicant shall be responsible for providing notification to the <br />neighbors immediately adjacent to the property of their intent to keep <br />chickens. This notification will be distributed in the format provided by <br />the City. Neighbor written responses will be returned to the City. <br />Neighbor consent from all of the immediately adjacent properties is <br />required for issuance of the license.
