MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />MAY 18, 2023 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 18th day of May, 2023 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> <br />Acting Chair Eric Thorson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and the following members of <br />the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Buesing, Masrud, Thorson, and Youth Commissioner Lum. <br />Absent: Boe-Schmidtz, Johnson and Kulousek. <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Community Development Director/ Planner Corrin Wendell <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented. <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />Commissioner Buesing made a motion to approve the April 13, 2023 Planning Commission <br />minutes as submitted. Commissioner Masrud seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br /> <br />OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />No comments. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER BUSINESS: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT – ACCESSORY <br />STRUCTURES EXCEED 1,000 SQ FT – 630 KELLER PARKWAY – CASE #1419 <br />The Community Development Director presented a request for a conditional use permit (CUP) to <br />allow an attached garage with total accessory structures not to exceed 1,500 square feet at 630 <br />Keller Parkway. She stated that they would be moving an existing detached garage to another <br />location on the property and construct a new attached garage that would include an art studio. <br />She reviewed the zoning of the property and proposed site plan. She reviewed the considerations <br />for the conditional use permit and noted that the City Council will hold the required public <br />hearing at its meeting the following week. <br />
